8. Google Workspace and Meeting Recordings

When you connect Google Calendar, Zell requests read-only access to calendar events. Zell uses this data only to identify eligible external meetings, schedule the Zell Notetaker, and associate a meeting with the correct Zell user. Zell does not create, edit, or delete your Google Calendar events.

For meetings selected for recording, Recall.ai acts as a service provider that joins the meeting and processes the meeting link, title, participant and timing metadata, and recording media needed to provide the service. After Zell successfully imports the recording into its protected storage, Zell requests deletion of the recording media held by Recall.ai. Users can disconnect their calendar in Zell or revoke access in their Google Account at any time.

Zell does not use Google Workspace API data to develop, improve, or train generalized AI or machine-learning models, and does not permit its service providers to do so. AI service providers may process meeting recordings or transcripts only to provide Zell features on our behalf and under applicable data-protection terms.

The use of information received from Google Workspace APIs will adhere to the Google User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
